Playback problems

Hi all, I've had a look around the various forums available but have been unable to find an answer to MY specific problem, so here goes.

Backing up; Meet the Parents

DVD Writer; Liteon DVDRW SOHW-1673S

Media; Philips DVD+RW

Ripped with DVD Decrypter

Burning with Nero 6.6.0.8 Via DVD Shrink

WILL PLAY ON PC AND MY SONY DVD PLAYER DVP-NS405

BUT NOT ON MY MATSUI DVDR 100

The strange thing is, I have backed up my other DVD's using the same process and they will play on both the Sony AND the Matsui, it's just this one thats messing me about.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Only thing that comes to mind is are you sure you haven't set a region on your backup?
Review on http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers....y=Name&hits=25 makes interesting reading but no answer there.

It must be that, as i've just re-burnt a copy of another dvd from my hd that i KNOW worked the last time i burnt it.

just how do I change the region?

Do you mean your earlier problem media now works?
I'm not at my home machine right now but I think region is in the Shrink Preferences/Settings. Not the kind of thing that can be turned on by mistake really.
I'm just trying out the Nero CD-DVD Speed (link in Blutachs posts) - just found a 'questionable' CD-RW!!

No, the problem still occurs with MEET THE PARENTS, what i ment was that i burnt another dvd from my hd to the same media (new disc) and it works on both players.
I dont see a "region option" in shrink settings.
Have to go to work now, catch ya later, thanks again.
