Copied DVD will not play on all Players?

After coping several movies, the copies play on most players. But, for some reason they will not play on my mothers Emerson TV+DVD+VCR player. Copies I made with older version of DVDShrink work just fine still. Older copies were on Maxell DVD+R media and Memorex DVD+R media. I now have HP DVD+R media. Is this a known problem with the newest DVDShrink or is this a quirk using different media? Please help, I'm totally lost at this point. Thanks in advance....

Hello and welcome to the forums. I would simply go back to using "Maxell DVD+R" as you have indicated that you've had success using that particular media.

Memorex doesn't make its own product and has been rebadging CMC MAG for quite some time, HP is the US distributer for AMA MAG products. Since CMC is rather 'iffy' media I would do as columbo999 indicated and go back to your Maxell media.

          Put very politely spinner!
CMC is crap, pure crap. Avoid it like the plague.

CMC for me (knock on wood) has been 100% for a long time. if your burner/player supports it and you burn at 4x or lower, you should get perfect burns like me

this is why it is so important to use compatible media for your devices!
