problem using PowerDVD with SPDIF-output = rattling sound

Hi,

hope you can help me out. Im using Win2k, PowerDVD 5 (5.1ch/SPDIF support), Creative Labs SoundBlaster Live! Platinum and a Creative Labs inspire DD5.1 Reciever. I connect the Reciever using a Cinch (SPDIF) or a Optical.

if i insert a DVD into the ROM and start playing it with PowerDVD i hear the correct sound but no DolbyDigital, just Coaxial- or Optical-Input. changing the audio settings in PowerDVD doesn't help.
If i select SPDIF in PowerDVD i only get a rattling sound, no DolbyDigital input.

The same problem i have on another pc with onboard-soundcard (+SPDIF), so the problem should be PowerDVD?!
