Hi!
I'm trying to watch a normal DVD I rented, on my TV. I'm using PowerDVD and the TV-out on my Powercolor Radeon 9800 Pro.
When I play the DVD on our stand-alone player the subtitles are just fine. But when I try it on my computer, the subtitles are only showing inside the picture, and since the picture is 16:9, the subtitles' height is incorrect and it's hard to read them.
I think I kinda suck at explaining this so here's an image of how it looks on the stand-alone player:
And here is how it looks on my TV through my computer:
I have tried several different DVD media players but all with the same result. The only thing needed is to have the subtitles move down and show in the right height, like on the stand-alone player.
