Thanks for all the responses. Right now I have already ordered a firmware package from UK ($80) that suppossely it's from a marantz dealer too. It should be arriving in 5 to 10 days. If it works I will post it here so you guys can unlock your Dvd player. If not, maybe we could try the one in Argentina. Maybe by that time there will be someone that will want to split the cost with you pushhead.....Keep the fingers crossed......

Hello everyone. Sorry for the delay but I was out of the country for a while and just got back . I tried the firmware I got from Uk and It didnt help at all. It seems it was the same one i got from the web. Everything works fine except for the video which still is all f*** up. Hate it!!!. Maybe PusHead firmware will work. If so, i will split it you too......Good luck!!!!Comment

I ordered the firmware form argentina, and I got my player working again - and it's region free, but will still only play NTSC DVD's - what's the point of being region free if you can't also play PAL DVD's? Anybody ever heard of a region 2 NTSC DVD? Takagoldie - let's trade firmware - you will at least be able to get your player back up, playing all regions of NTSC discs, and I'd like to fiddle with the firmware you got, because my HT projector should support PAL...Comment
