'Board Game' DVD's?

Hi guys,

was wondering what you think of trivia board games that involve dvd's. i've seen the ads, but can't remember the names of any of them (shows how effective the advertisments were ). wouldn't it be cumbersome, pressing a button on the remote constantly? wouldn't there be a pause after every clip is played? anybody ever played one?

i thought about buying one if they're actually fun and if the playability isn't affected by the limitations of the dvd standard

it's truly remarkable work, i just "lowered" the hat a TAD by filling and matching the color in paint. looks exactly like what i wanted. anonymez is very good at this stuff! i think i'll be applying it quite soon.

well i decided to put your original back, i made the mistake of modifying the large pic, so when it gets here it compresses the livin piss out of it and looks like 100% crap. re-sizing wasn't up to my standard of excellence either. so what your looking at is your work totally and is permanent (for holidays of course). there was no need for me to modify anything i'm reeeeally starting to like it too! looks good with the green stars

next time...signature will get a makeover

I have the game "Scene it!". It's pretty cool from what i've seen, but I haven't really played it yet (planning to on new years). Interesting story, my grandmother's friend's daughter's brother-in-law created the game and sold it to Mattel. Heh. I don't actually know the brother-in-law or daughter but it's interesting none the less.

There is another game I know of where it doesn't use a game board. There are clips, pictures/puzzles and quotes from movies and you have to guess it. It's a multiplayer thing. Quite fun, but once you play em, there's no alternative gaming sessions to get involved with.

I own "DVD - Scene It". It is alot of fun with a group of people but, beware there are alot of questions about movies that you have never heard of. They have now branched it several different categories (ie. Disney's Scene It, Harry Potter Scene It, James Bond 007 Scene It, ESPN Scene It, etc.)
