Playback DL copy on a Samsung

Hi all,

I have been using DVD Shrink and Decrypter for close to two years now with no problems (at least that someone here hadn't solved already) until today. I have an Emprex DL burner(DVDRW IDE 16X A07M), DVD Decrypter and Nero 6. I made an ISO file of a region 1 movie using DVD decrypter and then burned it to a Ritek DVD+R DL disc. There were no errors. I pop it in my Samsung HT-P38 Home Theater System and it plays fine, I'm stoked. I skip to chapter 24 or so and it plays for a second, locks up, plays for a second, locks up. It appears to be having a problem reading the second layer. I pop the disc out and take it to my cheapy Sylvania DVD/VCR deck in the bedroom and it plays fine. Any thoughts?

Those are not the best disks, and strangely enough, the better players demand better media. I'd stick to Verbatims. Pricely but very very good.

Test you burn - See "how to test your disc" in my signature. If your burner can test for PIE/PIFs do that too.

You set the layer break correctly right? Didn't use DVD Shrink for anything - just did and ISO Read/ISO Write in DVD Decrypter?
