I have a Magnavox DVD player at work (I don't have the model number handy). Twice now, I have received disks from Europe that work fine in any other machine I've tried them in but seem to misalign the overlays on the menuscreens when on this Magnavox. The one I'm looking at currently is actually NTSC region free but the overlay buttons don't line up and it's really difficult to navigate. I've only seen this problem on the Magnavox but it feels like it could have something to do with PAL vs. NTSC differences and original dpi design. Is there some flaw in Magnavox programming?
