help needed
Hi,
I have a bit of a problem. I have a samsung SD-608 DVD player and followed all steps (clearing and updating bios) to make it region free and according to the program driveinfo it is region free now.
I myself live in NL (region 2) and have no problems playing DVD with region 2 but a collegue of my come from Canada and has some region 1 DVD's. But when I put one of her DVD's in my player it will not recognise it. I have also tried DVD genie but this doesn't work either...it still won't recognise the DVD. When playing the DVD in a normal DVD player I have no problem watching it, only with the DVD-drive in my PC.
Has anyone encountered similar problems and can help me on how to setup my pc so that it is working (my collegue has a Samsung SD-606F which is also region free according to driveinfo but has also the same problem of not recognising the disk)
