I am able to use PowerDVD and VLC Media Player to play DVD's from both the Hard drive and from either of my DVD drives, but I am unable to play DVD's from the DVD drive with Media Player Classic. Media Player Classic will play DVD's from my Hard drive with no problem but when I try to open a DVD in either of my DVD drives (original disk's) I get the title screen the FBI warnings and some times the main menu. If I get any video at all it is blockey and jerky. Thanks for any help.

running any apps in the background that may be using the drives? -
MPC and ANYDVD.
I have DMA enabled on all drives. I can play DVD's with PowerDVD or VLC Media player. I have found if I run ANYDVD in the background MPC will then play DVD's? Why does MPC need to have ANYDVD running in the backgroud bur VLC and PowerDVD don't?

Thanks for you help
I have the lastest version of MPC, DMA is on and the mpeg2 filter is checked. If I run ANYDVD in the background the dvd plays fine no skipping, jumping or blockly playback. When I just run MPC player alone blockly, jumping and skipping playback?
