Had thought of upgrading me burner but am hoping to change the whole system in the near future.

Can anyone in the mean time suggest any media i could try. I've been onto www.videohelp.com but no media reports for the samsung dvd-r119 have been done!

try 0051 last of the 2 digit ones

wth these old firmware you might have to flash to that then try one of the 3 digit ones

Right that worked a treat! Updated to 0051 first then to 0251!

Hopefully now i can get somewhere i'm ordering new media tomorrow thought i'd try these (Verbatim 'Silver Top' (16x) DVD+R) unless anyone can suggest any better media.

Don't want to end up with another bunch of coasters but guess only testing will see if that happens or not!
