    Lost Highway

Is there a NTSC version of this movie available that has subtitles or closed captioning? I am quite hard of hearing and it's impossible for me to understand most of the dialog in this movie. My roommate has good hearing and she even had problems with it.

Bleh that's the one that I have, and it's horrible. The picture is so grainy it looks as though it's mastered from a 2nd generation VHS tape, it's pan and scan, and there's neither subtitles nor closed captioning, not to mention the sound is 2.0. So far it looks like the only decent version is the Region 2 Australian release, but I don't have the capability to play PAL DVDs.

Maybe one of these days they'll do a Collector's Edition.

You could always buy the Austrailian version and convert it to NTSC and make it region free when you back it up.
