I have to put this one in for my wife "Cat Ballou". Support Your Local Gunfighter & Support Your Local Sheriff. Maverick, Blazing Saddles & Mclintock. That was my lighter side, I will get back to serious next time.

          Hello All

Those r some good movies. Thoroughly enjoyed the Bodyguard as mentioned earlier. Kevin cosner and whitney houston did a great job. As for westerns I love John Wayne movies. True Grit is my favorite, next Rouster Cogburn and another favorite is The Sons Of Katie Elder.

Anyone here like "The Quick And The Dead". Kind of a strange western, but interesting. Top notch cast. Gene Hackman was excellent as the villain, purely evil character.

If I remeber correctly it also stars Sharon Stone and one of Leonardo Dicaprio and Russel Crowes first major roles. 1995 I think it was. I never bought this one but it still shows up alot on TBS and Skinamax quite often.

Edit : Despite what the critics said . I think you would like it LT. If Quentin Tarantino made a western ,it would be like this movie.

How about "Unforgiven", I think it will stand the test of time. I would liked to have seen the duke replace Richard Chamberlain in "Shogun". I could just imagine him with the Texas drawl saying 'Wakarimos Toronagusun".
