White Bar - Vertical on Right during DVD playback

Hi Guys-

I'm getting a White Bar - Vertical on Right during DVD playback. How do I get rid of this? I thought something was wrong with WMP, so I downloaded WMP 11, no change to the white bar. How do I get rid of this thing? Happens with all DVDs.

install an mpeg2 decoder such as dscaler5, or an app that registers one, such as powerdvd or windvd. better yet just use media player classic
