when i hook my portable dvd player to the tv it plays the dvds in black and white on the tv but showing fine on the portable, but when I try to play on another tv it flickers where you can't see no picture, and my regular dvd player can't even read the disc problem just started like a month ago. If someone could help me with my problem I would appreciate it.

What are the discs like when you watch them in your computer using Media Player Classic or Nero Showtime?? Do they play well then??
I suspect it is either a media or burning problem. What program did you burn with? See my signature on how to attach a NeroLog as this will tell what is probably wrong. Just read the FAQ and attach the last log (successful or not)!Gary D

But you may want to go to videohelp and see if those DVD players are compatable with that format of DVD. I have a link to videohelp in my signature in post #2.Gary D

that must have been the wrong log, you used that antique usb1 burner,
why not the brand new nec/optiarc?Comment

heres another log using the other burner, when it kept messing up with the optiarc I tryed using the dual burner and it did the same thing.
