The neatest new feature of PowerDVD, IMO, must be the ability to playback ripped DVDs from the hard-drive (IFO parsing), which should please any ripper

Power DVD 4.0 XP is really great programm ... but if you try to start it with Voodoo 3 3000 (with TV out): the answer is: error F4D41436 !!! Pls find enclosed the comment from Cyber Link:

"... , there are some VGA cards that are not approved by MacroVision. Therefore, a DVD software decoder, like Power DVD, is forced to shut down the TV-OUT function to prevent any illegal recording action. Our suggestion: Please find a VGA card approved by MacroVision. Then you can watch DVD via the TV-OUT function..."

That why I continue to use My PowerDVD V 3.0.

have you had any luck sorting that problem out...

my tv out is disabled but I still get the error message...

You can play ripped DVD (www.flexion.org) from HDD w/o problems!

Sort of fixed it

I had to format my hard drive due to other problems so when I installed powerdvd4 fresh....it still had the same problem..so i went to install my old version power dvd 3...and it fixed the problem with version 4...

it must have just replace some file...

not sure but its working...
