I have a Pioneer DVD Player 575A which supports DivX movies with various
subtitle formats. My .srt files are in Greek but the player supports
only Latin 1 character sets. So, in playback I get some strange characters
due to this incompatibility. Is there a way I can convert my srt files
to another format which probably will be treated like images by the
player as a workaround? Which is this subtitle format (if any) and which
tool can I use for the conversion?
