Burned dvds wont play in my player

i burned files to my dvd to watch on my tv, it plays great in my computer, but it says the disc is unreadable in my player

even though its the same discs that i use to burn things off tv and play fine in my player?

any help?

the standalone recorder is burning at 1x, your computer drive burns a lot faster?

what software are you using to burn with?

i used power2Go to burn my files to the dvd

give some more details on how you produced the files and we can go from there

nah it came free with my computer

anyway i download files in winrar from rapidshare and such, then i burned them in power2go onto my blank dvds, then i put the dvd in the computer and it plays but not in any of my dvd players
