virtualdub synchronize problems

Hi i have a problem when i am splitting an avi in 2 pieces... the sound and video are not synchronize... what can i do to make it work (sound sooner then video)

If you look under the "Audio" drodpown menu and click on "Interleaving", you'll see a box labelled "Audio skew correction" with simple directions...
