    Problem with Nero Vision 4

I'm new to Nero and don't know much about it. I just bought the latest version of Nero (Nero 7 Ultra Edition Enhanced). So then i got home, installed it right away, and I kind of understand what to do with it from reading various information from different sites. So i got on Nero Vision 4 and try to create my own DVD. But i couldn't find the *Make DVD...* on *What would you like to do list*. Does anybody know why this is happpening? Please help and Thank You. Check out my link if you don't believe me. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x286/vietsandwichs/nero.jpg

There is a "DVD-Video" plugin which can be purchased on the Nero website, but that's for OEM and "essential" versions of the package which doesn't have this plug-in built in. If you have the Ultra Edition (Enhanced, or otherwise), it should have this plugin, as it's the most complete edition.

Try to run "Nero ProductSetup", as it will scan for new versions and tell you what you have installed and what you haven't.

Contract Nero tech/sales support and ask them for instructions, if you can.

I'm sure tech support will be able to come up with something, or maybe another users here on the forum. I wouldn't buy the plug-in until I get an answer from tech support, otherwise it might be a waste of money.

If you've ever had the demo version of Nero on your system, or an old OEM version, perhaps that's causing the problem if they haven't been uninstalled properly.

Try this - start Nero Vision, click on the "more" button at the bottom and then "Configure". Enable the option "Enable all supported recorder formats for the Image Recorder", press "OK" and restart Nero Vision. Sometimes this helps to bring back the "Make DVD" option.

I don't know exactly why this problem comes up, but I suspect it's to do with Nero not properly recognising your DVD recorder drive.

                    Problem with Nero Vision 4

I got a weird problem with Nero Vision 4. I was able to access the *Make DVD* on the *What would you like to do list*. I finished making my DVD (just a test project) and all, then I got to the final part (Burning It). Then the problem began to happen for some reason, I can't burn it to a DVD-R but i was able to burn it to Image Recorder. But that is not what I want, I want to burn it to a DVD-R. *Note* The DVD-R is inside the comp and ready to burn. Please help me solve this problem. Here is a quick link if you dont believe me. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...ichs/nero2.jpg

Sorry, your were quoting some one elses reply. So I don't know who you were asking. Back to your question, about my burner, sorry i don't know. I just use whatever is on there, such as Nero Burning ROM.

About the nero info drive, there is a lot and dont know which one your looking for, sorry.

But i found out something when i was looking through the nero info drive. I saw in the Supported Write Features, everything else was uncheck except for CD-R and CD-RW. I was thinking to check DVD boxes but not until you think it is right to do so.
