I found a great hardware method to get DVDs to appear as if on an iPod screen. All you need to do is play the DVD on one of those cheap (sub $100 preferred) portable DVD players. Because the screen on those is at least 6 inches you do need additional hardware. I found my 10 power binoculars quite acceptable to complete the process. To fully get the iPod effect all you need do is turn the binoculars around and gaze at the DVD player screen. That is, hold the objective lenses to your eyes and watch the DVD through the eyepieces (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binoculars). You may have to experiment with different power binoculars until your DVD appears to be 2 inches diagonally.Comment
