Ripping and Burning DVD from another region.

I am somewhat new to this area, and while I haven't had many problems using AnyDVD and DVDShrink on most DVDs, I have run into a problem on a foreign film. I have a DVD from Australia, that copies just fine using AnyDVD, and it previews perfectly well in DVDShrink, but when I try to play the DVD in my DVD player, it doesn't work. I have tried selecting in DVDShrink "Region-free", as well as just choosing "Region 1", and neither one of those settings produces a DVD playable in my DVD player (although I see the DVDShrink preview just fine in all cases). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

      My apologies

Sorry about discussing ripping. I legitimately purchased this particular DVD, and just want to be able to watch it, so I didn't think it would be a problem. Thanks anyway though, and thanks for tip.
