    Mpeg 4 Hardware Decoder

I have a machine I am just about to complete which has an Athlon 2100 XP processor and will be using XP Professional with and ATI Radeon 64mg DDR card. Sigma markets a Mpeg 4 hardware DVD decoder card but my ATI card pre-Radeon 8500, has hardware decoding built-in, Mpeg 2.
Can you use a Real Magic Hollywood Plus or Xcard with this ATI card using the Realmagic driver/software player software Uninstalling the ATI player software or am I locked into using the ATI player software or purchasing a newer Nvidia card without hardware decoding to get Mpeg 4 decoding capability? Note, I have had trouble with a previously built machineI built for a friend, Athlon 1.2 Gig Radeon VE card, Windows 2000 Pro OS, getting the DVD playback to work properly at all. Using ATI player software (not the current releases), machine would black screen when expanding the DVD pisture to full screen. I don't want to deal with the same problem on my new machine with XP pro. Any Help?
