DVD playback starts skipping after several good playbacks

I create DVD's using Pinnacle Studio 9. After burning the disk I can play it back perfectly a few times and then it starts skipping, stalling and/or stuttering. I used Nero to check the burn quality of a DVD that was skipping and the chart showed all green, there were no errors. I have burned DVD's using Pinnacle on different computers, different DVD burners and have the same experience after playing the disks a few times they start to skip. I use Taiyo Yuden, TDK Professional and Verbatim disks all with the same end results--they stall, skip and stutter. My thinking is if the disk plays, it can't be a bad burn. I play the DVD back on different computers and players and they all have the same trouble. That would eliminate having a bad player. What other reason for the playback problems could there be?

instead of burning just make iso from within pinacle and then burn with nero or someother program at lowest speed round 4x or 6x, or 8x on good quality disks and see what happens.
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!
