I have win dvd 3.0 and power dvd 4 installed on my amd xp 1700 with a 64mb kyro 2 tv out graphics card. when i try to play a dvd or vob file with power dvd it may play or a minute or maybe only a couple of seconds before freezing. then when win xp pro starts again it give the following error message
"the driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing operation. Plese check with the device manufacurer for a driver up date. The display driver for the Power VR kryo ll 32/64mb seems to be responsible for the system insability"
i have installed the xp drivers for the kyrp a while ago but this keeps happening, is there newer drivers for the kyro? if so would anyone know where to get them.
i have also been running windvd it will play dvd ok but tends to skip a bit. but when i play a ripped vob file it will strech it out of proportion. ie from c/s to w/s. also when playing ripped vob files i have to first play a downloaded thx trailer before starting playback of the vob if not windvd will give the following error
"Software DVD Player has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
If anyone has any idea of fixing any of these problems i would be very great full.
(sorry to pratle on)
thanks
