    Samsung SD-612: Flashing worked, but...

I have a Dell Dimension 4100 with a Samsung SD-612 DVD-ROM drive; I wanted to disable the region coding in order to watch some imported Region 2 anime DVDs from Japan (stuff that likely will never be licensed in North America, like Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou), so I used sfdfwin to Flash my drive. It worked (I tested using a Region 2 Buffy the Vampire Slayer disk), but I discovered one HUGE drawback... for some reason anything Macrovision encoded now either doesn't play properly or play at all on my drive. Are there any patches I can download to remedy this?

    Check this one out: http://perso.club-internet.fr/farzen.../dvd/dvdfi.htm

I have the same DVD drive model and have successfully flashed it using one of the firmwares available here.
