Disc's or player??

Ive been burning movies to DVD RW/ DVD R for ages now using DVD Flick with hardly no problems but for some reason recently when I put the disc in to play I get a 'No disc' sign pop up on the TV!.

The strange thing is though it's all very random as I can try putting a disc in several times with no luck then another day it will play??

Just for the record they are Memorex disc's but that should make no odds!

If the player and the disc blanks are the same you've been using all along then I'd suspect the player. Maybe it has a dirty lens. Have you tried one of those cleaner discs? I'm not sure they are even recommended for DVD players. An alternative might be opening the player tray and blowing clean air in to blow out the dust.

Also I would look for a forum that's particular to the DVD player manufacturer. Many of these electronics companies have a forum on the web. The more people using the exact player that read your question the better the chance someone will know a fix or work-around.
