First time using DVD Flick, what did I miss?

I've just used DVD Flick for the first time. It didn't quite work as I expected. I followed the instructions, loaded an MP4 in the program, did as instructed, watch it go through all the processes for two hours, waited for it to say it was finished. The disc is still empty.

What did I miss?

Did you choose to burn to disc directly or to create a DVD folder on your hard-drive?
