    Is it better?

I have taken a look at the workings of DVDFlick and it looks like a good program. My question would be; "What does it do better than my legal copy of Nero Vision Express?" Is it faster or have more options? I have been converting AVI files to disc from internet news files and such, and would use anything that is faster or easier.

dvdflick is not faster than vision, but it's much more foolproof

vision is problematic with slightly non-standard avi's, sound is a big problem with the nero 6 version

after a few crashes with the nero 7 version I just gave up and deleted it off my machine

DVD Flick is slow, but good...if you don't mind paying there is ConvertXtoDVD, it is fast and good, probably the fastest encoder around right now.

Thank you very much. And yes I was having tracking and sound problems with Nero. I will give it a try this week end.
