Does the error pop up before (immediately after you click on the "Add" button) or after you load the subtitle file?

I would recommend moving the subtitle file to a folder closer to root (eg. c:\temp) and make sure the folder/file name does not have any special characters in it (just plain letters/numbers).

Have you tried my advice about moving the file to a folder closer to root and without special characters in it?
