    Jerky DVD

    Hi all

I'm a newbie to this, so I apologise if this question has been asked before!
I have downloaded & used DVD FLick to create a good quality DVD, however, I found that the converted file was a little jerky in places. Other than that, I was pretty happy with the outcome!
Any help will be much appreciated!

I am having the same problem. I have a good quality movie and after I
burn the DVD and play it....there are jecky movements. What can I do?
Please help!!! I did a recital movie for parents and I am getting nervous
    about the jerking.

Have you made sure you selected the right video system (PAL or NTSC)?

        @secksy & zkristeen

What brand discuseseses are you guys using?
        Firmware up to date?
        Burning how fast?
Are you auto burning with Imgburn (DVD Flicks' built-in burn engine) or manually burning with another program?

@zkristeen, how about a burn log?

The problem only occurs after the burn? The file on the computer isn't jerky?

Thanks for your help locoeng & admin

I convert at the same fps rate as the source avi
The discs I use are 8x but I burn them at 4x.
I have used imgburn & Nero & got the same results.

I'm really happy with the colour & quality but the small jerky movements reduce the veiwing enjoyment.

The jerkiness is not noticable on the computer.

            Thanks again

if the converted file set and the burned dvd play fine on your computer
then try the dvd on other standalones

try to narrow down the problem
