Episodic video files & burning (dvd flick)

Hi, I'm new to burning dvd's so apologies if I'm asking simple newbie questions, but I havn't been able to find an answer elsewhere.

    Problem 1
I'm trying to burn multiple episodic videos to a dvd but I haven't managed to get them to come out in the right order. I added them to dvd flick in the right order but they came out in the order 3, 1, 2. Anyone know how I can get them in the desired order in future?
Also I get the impression that it isn't possible to set up a dvd menu type thing so I could choose which episode to watch rather than having to watch them in order (that they appear on dvd). Is this correct, if so can you suggest a freeware application which could do this?

    Problem 2
All the dvd flick guides say that it is possible to burn directly to dvd through dvd flick but I haven't managed to do this. It gets to the stage before finalising & stops. The log file for the last time was:

    01:21:15: Creating ISO image
    01:21:15: /mode build /buildmode imagefile /noimagedetails /rootfolder yes /filesystem iso9660+udf /close /nosavesettings /recursesubdirs yes /start /src "D:\ConverterOutput\dvd" /volumelabel DVD /dest "D:\ConverterOutput\dvd.iso" /log "D:\ConverterOutput\imgburn.txt"
01:31:40: -1 from Finalize: ISO image was not created.

The thing is I hadn't ticked the create ISO image button I'd ticked burn to disk. In the end I used Arcade to burn the audio & video ts files to dvd but how can I do this simply through dvd flick?

Much thanks for any assistance you can give.

    welcome to the forum

add them one at a time and flick will remember their order fine

once you learn to use the title feature of your remote control it's not too bad,
remember to have flick create chapters

I always save to hard drive and burn manually after checking the output

Thanks, but what do you mean by remote control?
I have been creating chapters but I've noticed that as the different episodes come up one after another when I cycle through chapters it'll take me to chapter 3 (or the last chapter in the episode) but won't go to the next episode. Probably no way to get around that but how do I set it up so I can choose which episode to watch first?

your remote control for your dvd player will have a title selection

mine is in display, and then I navigate to whatever title and chapter I want

Oh right, I haven't tried them on a proper dvd player yet, just the computer but on the compter player when I go to main menu it just plays the video rather than giving any title selection options. I'll give it a try on a dvd player when I've got access to one but I'll check it out meantime & see if ther's any way to get this to show when played on the computer.
