    ati all in wonder 7500

    Toshiba dvd-rom sd-m1612
    ok I have an all in wonder 7500 my problem is that when I watch my DVD out to my vcr the macrovision kicks in. I have 2 have the vcr cus it is incorporated in my elaborate system ,and I don't want to rip the DVD (cuz I don't know how 2) my pc DVD is the only 1 I have ....is there a way 2 kill the macrovision so when I rent DVDs I can actually watch them clear ....please help me I'm lost....

    Looks like the key is finding a working download for Soft-Cinemaster 98

    As far as I'm aware, there're a couple of ways round this, first is to go to your display properties, go to the advanced tab - then display (think) and select your tv as your primary view and monitor as second, this is done with symbols I think! The other way (which is what I use, is to use hacked drivers with the macrovision disabled)

    p.s you shouldn't have problem with macrovision unless you are going through a vcr or other electronic device

      i am going through a vcr that is my whole problem,beside that all works fine

        Try renaming atitvo32.dll found in your system directory to *.old or whatever. As I recall it worked for me but I don't play out to vcr anymore and I've upgraded MMC several times since...
