    Geforce 2 MX400 tv output

I have a GF 2 MX400 with a TV output on my win XP PC. I have installed the latest Nviada driver 41.09 to see if it would fix a problem of the TV select being grayed out. How is the TV output enabled? The TV encoder is Chrontel 7007.

Try connecting TV-out and TV via SCART or BNC connector
That should do it ... it worked for me ...

That is the problem - there is no video out on the bnc connector and the setup in win XP shows the TV output grayed out ie no dual screen (desktop properties/settings/advanced etc etc.

      Any other thoughts?

I think that we missunderstud each other ...

On your GF2 there is composit output. Now you need either composit-to-SCART cable (plug composit in GF2 and SCART in TV) or composit-to-BNC (plug composit in GF2 and BNC in TV).

Now you need to do this when your computer is turned off, and when you have it connected than you turn on your comp.

If this doesn't work try with this utillity http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm

I had a simular problem, I solved it by installing the windows 2000 driver and applictions set fron nvidia web site onto my winXP system which installed twinview and i used twinview to get the tv out working.
