    macrovision vhs

I own about 100 vhs tapes that I am trying to convert to dvd

I am using a pcchips tvtuner card to capture video. I have tried several things and have had no luck. The card came with windvr which captures video just fine, but as soon as i but a macrovision tape in it plays it fine, but won't record it. I have tried virtualdub and I get a message "error 418 device is already in use. I also tried nerovision express2 and I the macrovision video is distorted and the sound is distorted. Does anyone have any suggestions

There are many "black boxes" that eliminate Macrovision available on the 'Net. They typically sell for $30-50$ US. Just do a Googlesearch for this hardware solution...
