    TV Out Macro Vision Problem

I have Via Epia 1000M, one of those Min-ITX mother boreds. Any way I use if for Div-x and Xvid play back, through the TV out, which works brilentaly.

However DVD playback is another story. When I use software play back in power DVD the picture is a little jerkey, as the proceser is maxed out, however this is not a problem as it has a built in hardware MPEG 2 Decoder. However it works grate on the moneter but not on the TV, I have sound but no picure. Just a blank box. Some one told me that this is caused buy Macrovision, is that true? And if so, you don't not how to remove it, so don't have to go and buy a DVD player!

It's not DVD or Divx player it's a computer, that I made myself. It has a Via Epia Mini-ITX motherbored that comes with a 1G Via C3 processor, 512MB or Ram, 30G Weston Digital Hard Drive, DVD-ROM, and everything else is on built in, such as graphics and sound. It dose also have TV out as S-video and via some yellow plug which looks like a phono lead plug, which I use as my TV dose not support S-video.

That yellow jack is the rca video jack (composite video out jack). It's only good for about 400 lines of resolution, whereas the s-video is good for ~ 540 lines of resolution.

The blank screen seems not to be a macro-splat problem but is a problem with your video out card, either the card, a setting or driver.
        Rig :
