Hi!!
I have a Prophet 4500 w/ TvOut with a Chrontel CH7011A-T TvOut chipset. My problem is that i intend to see DVD movies on my TV, but unfortunatelly i have to link TvOut to my VCR since TV haven't got extra inputs.
As u can guess this implies lots of problems with macrovision and therefore the image on the screen changes from darker to lighter all the time...well this is such a pain in the ass as u can imagine!
I've gone through the web and discovered some macrovision free solutions...the fact is that most software based (freeware) solutions are intended to be used with nVidia and ATI cards, some other (few) doesn't work, and the only one i think that might work - Remote Selector - isn't free, besides the fact that in Trial version the macrovision-free feature is disabled (of course i won't risk to buy the software before i know if it works with my system or not).
I leave my question here: does anyone know an easy and free way to disable macrovision in this CH7011A-T Chrontel chips - or through the software DVD player (i'm using PowerDVD 4 XP) or else??
Regards to all the comunity!!!
