How to make XP think there's a tv connected?

    Hi,
I have a p3 system, running on XP professional, and a Hercules 3d Prophet 4500 with TV out.
I use my system to watch dvd on an old tv set without av in.
So i connected through a vcr. To remove the macrovision protection, i use a hardware solution (macro1000 with scart in and out).

The problem is that, when i use this box, XP won't recognize a tv connected and so won't enable the TV out option.

So, each time i want to watch a dvd i have to manually plugin another portable tv set to the card, then enable tv out in win XP, and then reconnect the macro1000/vcr which then is working just fine.

Does anyone know if there's a patch for the prophet 4500 so you can enable tvout even without a tv connected ?
    thanx

try to connect a (near) 75 ohms load (simple resistor, BNC terminator with embedded resistor... ) at the composite output monitor of your card.
