We'll this may help YALL as in people having trouble with that S-VIDEO stuff. I think it is BULL they done that because what is the sense having S-VIDEO & DVD players then? If they going to give us this stupid ERROR!

"This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled."

Sounds like JUDGE DREED I am the LAW you can't play DVD's!
    Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Whatever!

Okay I had an AGP ASUS V71200 32MB

    I turned around & bought a Visiontek XTASY 5864
    Geforce2 Titanium Ti 64MB
    DDR AGP Video Card -
    Retail w/ TV-Out

    I have WINXP PRO & the POWERDVD 4.0 6-Channel

I stuck in a DVD & BAM! This message!

"This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled."

    I was like WHAT-EVER! STUPID!

So what I done is UNINSTALL POWERDVD went & got DVD GENIE V4.05

    then I installed POWERDVD 4.0 6-Channel!

    Configured the GENIE

    Click on POWERDVD
    Select REGION 1
    Select Alternate Setting

    Click on AUTO REGION
Select the first & second BOX
as in AUTO SET & AUTO REGION!

Then select box 5 AUTO RUN!

Now this may not help but it is worth a try every PC & OS is different & what Video card you have...
