    Lip Synching

Please help me, I have a file which the first half is slightly out of synch. I know how 2 split files so I assume I split up to the point where it gets better then lip synch the first half and rejoin. I have VirtualDub, I'm quite good with it but can't work this out. Someone run me thru it briefly.
    Much appreciated

have a look at the Audio Lag thread - Enchanter's answered your sync question there.
If the sound's out of sync by a fixed amount in the first half of the film then yes- just split the file in VDub and play with the sync.
Just remember to cut the AVI at keyframes- it makes life sooo much easier.

    Cheers-
