mp4 encoding!!

hi,
i would like 2 know where can i find the aac audio support codec for encoding audio in flaskmpeg and others!! also , pls tell me which video codec would be best so that the encoded avi file would playback in QuickTime6!!

ps: isn't there any software which can encode video in .mp4 format playable in qt6!!

It doesn't exists, but even if it did it would not be of any use, since flask et al does not support mp4 output.

The only way to make an mp4 file with divx5 is to encode the audio and video seperatly. and mux them together using mp4creator60. As per this guide http://www.doom9.org/mp4.htm.

I don't have a clue if this is playable in QuickTime6.
