Wouldnt bother with the Duel as most if not all your games wont take advantage of it. Duel would only be be real high end users doing a LOT of video editing etc.

For games you best stick to your 2,5mhz and even that wont be taken advantage of at the moment.

You also need to make sure you get a decent MB, RAM and HD to back it all up.

Duel would work great if you plan on hosting a game server on the net, for instance SOF II server hosted on the internet that would allow the public to see and join but your connection to the internet needs to be considered allowing the number of players.

Very few programs even support dual processors. It's a waste of money at this point. It's obvious that the real concern if you are a game is you video card. As for ripping dvds, your processor doesn't have to be that strong. I have a P4 1.7 Ghz and I'm encoding movies at almost real time or faster at certain resolutions.

          Yes that's treu!!

But the program were i'm with working is
Dvdx 2.0 and it's also made for dual Processors, so i
think in this case it's better, but an the other hand with
other programs dual PIII is slower than a P4!!

Conclusion for me: I'll wait till the P4 with 533Mhz front bus
is a bit cheaper and buy it then!!

          Thanks guys!!
