Help !!!! I an hear it ....But can't see the picture !!

Okay ......
I am downloading movies from "Morpheus" I can hear them ....But I can't see them . Someone told me i needed to download the DivX codec thing ......(I really have no Idea what it is) I downloaded somethng caled "The Playa" & something called "Global DivX" ....... Neither one of them seem to work ....
what am I doing wrong ? What do I need to go to see them ??

in morpheus search in software and type in divx codec and download it and install it
