Ok, what am I missing here? I use to capture video from my DV cam and the file sizes were huge. I would then edit and convert to MPEG or whatever, and get great quality video. Now I have installed some freeware stuff from this site and a demo version of Sonic Foundry Video and Ulead DVD Workshop, and now when I capture my video from my DV cam, the file sizes are much smaller and the quality sucks
. I checked all the settings and can't seem to figure out what / or why I can't capture video like I use to.
It seems like a plugin in or something has changed a setting somewhere for capturing video. Anyone have any ideas to help me out? I am running Win XP, 80GB and 60GB HD at 7200 with 1 gig of PC800 mem on a P IV 1.8 using firewire. I have no dropped frames, just smaller file sizes and worse quality
. Help me please, lol......
Thanks
