Mpeg card or Software???

I'm thinking of buying a dvd but i'm not sure if i need an Mpeg card or not, my pc spec's is as follows:

PIII 866 Mhz
448 Ram PC 133
Creative SBLive card
ASUS AGP-V7100 MX 400

If you are questioning whether you need an MPEG (harware decoder) card to properly play DVDs on the system you've described, the answer is "No". Your system (video card, ram and CPU) should be adequate for proper presentation of DVDs.
