    Video/Audio Capture Problem

    Hi

    I have recently purchased a Canon ZR-10 MiniDV camera and would like to convert my tapes to DivX format. I have tried several capture programs with 1394 input and now can get the video on my hard disk without without any dropped frames... a bit of a struggle! However, none of my files contain any audio. Am I wrong to assume the 1394 (I believe Mpeg2) output of the camera contains audio information? Or do I have to plug the audio out of my camera into my soundblaster card? Any help would be appreciated! I'm slowly going crazy.

    Thanks

    1) Do you have your computer's audio-in setup checkmarked for either "Line In" or "Auxiliary" (depending on how you've set up your sound card?

    2) If your digital camcorder has a separate "Audio Out" I'm fairly certain that you'd have to connect this to your PC's soundcard.

    Let us know of your success ;>}
