    hi,

    I was wondering if you got an idea about what i could do.

    I downloaded several file this week but none worked. I finally found one that was named ***.ts.divx.avi but I can read it but I just have a black screen and no sound. Would you have any idea.

    Do you have any DivX video codecs installed? Do you have any audio codecs installed?

    Considering the lack of both video and sound, if you do have codecs installed, you've probably downloaded a phony file...


    In order to determine which codec(s) you need for a particular .AVI, you should do the following:

    1) Load the file into VirtualDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (both video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box
