???Freezing frames and Unsynched sound???
When I'm encoding a movie, that's PAL 25fps and has got a interlaced videostructure, in GKnot (I'm using DivX5.0.2), I get a result where the frames tend to freeze quite often and the sound seems to get more out of synch the longer the movie goes... Why is that?
Could it be that I've selected the wrong option in one of the last steps, after I've pressed the 'Save & Encode' button, where I want to set the 'FieldOperation' to either 'Fast DeInterlace' or 'Field DeInterlace'...? Which option is the correct to choose? I've seen both alternatives in tutorials... Perhaps there is some other setting that I've forgotten about?
