Help needed

Why does it take so long to burn a dvd into vcd. I read the readme that came with the program and it said it normally takes from 5-20 hrs, in my case it has taken over 30 hrs and still not finished. I am using smartripper. Any and all help is greatly apreciated.

It depends on the speed of your system. The process DOES take a long time, though, and is best done overnight (which you have obviously done).

Just wondering, what is your CPU speed? It is a major factor deciding how fast you can encode.
