I'm using TMPGEnc to compress an .avi file from a digital video camera. When I specify the size to 720 x 480 it always ends up enlarged. So I have to choose 50% size in Windows Media to view it at the normal size. I also tried it at 320 x 240 and a whole bunch of other sizes and it's too big every time. Any ideas?

It's already on 1024 x 768. All the other resolutions made the entire screen really small. Are there any other programs that can convert dv .avi?
This is also really weird, because on my old computer I had TMPGEnc (same version) and never had a problem like this. It always converted perfectly without messing with any settings.Comment
